All the town is decorated in red and white, the traditional colours of the "Festayres". Cow races, dancing, singing, brass bands, processions, concerts, games for children – there is something for everyone!

Each year, the Espelette Pepper Fraternity welcomes new members during the festival. All the town celebrates its "red gold" with concerts, Basque pelota games and, of course, the chance to buy Espelette pepper and regional products.
